A medical doctor that specialises in the heart (how it works and looks) and the blood vessels (that the blood is flowing properly).

Dermatologist

A medical doctor that specialises in diseases and disorders of the skin.

Ear, Nose and Throat

A medical doctor that specialises in the ears, nose and throat and their inner connectivity.

Endocrinologist

A medical doctor that specialises in treatment of diseases or disorders of the endocrine system (hormonal system responsible for managing the function of the body).

Fetal medical specialist

A gynaecologist or obstetrician that specialises in pregnancies that are at high risk.

Gastroenterologist

A medical doctor that specialises in managing and treating the gastrointestinal system (including the mouth, throat, stomach, colon, rectum, anus.

General Practitioner

A medical doctor that provides treatment and management for all health conditions, health education and preventative care.

Genetic Nurse

A registered nurse who specialises in genetics. Assess the risk of genetic conditions, care of patients affected with genetic conditions, genetic education and provide nursing care.

Gynaecologist

A medical doctor that specialises in conditions relating to the female reproductive system (vagina, cervix, uterus, ovaries).

Haematologist

A medical doctor that specialises in blood and the components of the blood (red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets) and blood forming organs (bone marrow).

Medical Geneticist

A medical doctor that has specialised in genetics and is able to clinically diagnose any condition resulting from a genetic abnormality.

Medical Scientist

A biomedical scientist that specialises in biology including the science of genetics. Involved in genetic research and genetic testing.

Nephrology

A medical practitioner that specialises in diseases and disorders of the kidneys (organs in our body that play a role in managing various substances the cleaning.

Neurologist

A medical doctor that specialises in the diagnosis and management of diseases of the nervous system (brain and nerves).

Nutritionist/Dietician

A healthcare professional that provides you with information on the effect taht food has on your health and assist through providing a nutritious eating plan.

Obstetrician

A medical specialist focusing on labour and childbirth.

Occupational Therapist

A medical professional who health by getting people to perform meaningful and purposeful activities.

Oncologist

A medical specialist who specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.

Ophthalmologist

A medical specialist that specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the eye.

Optometrist

A healthcare professional that provides primary eye care through prescribing corrective eyeware, such as glasses and contact lenses, and low vision rehabilitation.

Orthopaedic surgeon

A medical specialist that specialises in the treatment of disease and injury, to the ligaments, tendons, joints, bones, nerves and muscles.

Paediatrician

A medical specialist who provides medical care to babies, children and adolescents.

Pathologist

A medical specialist taht specialises in studying fluid, blood and tissue to assist with a diagnosis.

Physiotherapists

A healthcare professional who treats injury or lack of function with exercises and other treatments.

Psychiatrist

A medical specialist that focuses on the management and treatment of mental illnesses.

Psychologist

A healthcare professional who studies the mind and behaviour and treats through offering support and therapy.

Social Worker

A healthcare professionals who work with people and helps them manage their daily lives, improving the quality of life and wellbeing of an individual.

A healthcare professional who assesses and treats people with communication disorders, including hearing, speaking.

A medical specialist that specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of the genitourinary tract (kidneys, urinary bladder and genital structures).
